This course includes the following global subsections:

• physical basics of NMR phenomenon
• correlation of molecular structure and NMR spectroscopic properties
• obtaining structural data from the set of NMR experiments
• evolution of sample magnetization in various pulse sequences
• practical aspects of pulse NMR
• Nuclear Overhauser effect
• two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy

Students acquire the expirience in practical use of pulse NMR methods in structural organic chemistry and organic synthesis. They become able to formulate problems for NMR spectroscopic services and to interprete the obtained data in the aspect of molecular structure and conformation. This course generalizes material on the principles of polygraphy (scanning, tone and color balance, color separation etc.) and includes design, processing and pre-print of raster images using Adobe PhotoShop.
