DeFT sources are freely available from the CCL archives:

ii)DeFT Compilation
Surprisingly, one can compile DeFT with g77 under Linux without significant troubles.
First, download makefile here:
-rw-r--r-- 1 valentin user plain text file makefile
Then copy the makefile to "source" directory and type: "make".
Neither warnings nor error messages should appear during the compilation.
That's all. Congratulations!
